THE GOVERNOR'S SCHOOL AT RADFORD UNIVERSITY
The Governor’s School for Humanities and Visual & Performing Arts at Radford University is a one month academic program with students from all over Virginia. During the month the Theatre Department offered a wide range of classes that meet five days a week and culminated in two separate performance pieces that the students devised themselves.
I taught Movement for Performance, Comedic Improv and Making New Work. Our piece, A Night Under the Stars, used the structure of a formal dance to explore the question "What are boundaries?"
