Texas Beauty Pageant Murder: The Fall of Don Swan  is a devised one-act absurdist film noir comedy that investigates the myth of Don Juan in the current wake of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements.  A collaboration between the Theatre and Music Departments from Southwestern University’s Sarofim School of Fine Arts in Georgetown, Texas, it combines original opera music, puppets, and physical theatre with research from Mozart to Molière and Harvey Weinstein to Donald Trump in order to rip apart the most ambiguous figure pertaining to masculine sexuality.  Completely written, designed, and performed by the students it had its world premiere in 2018 with ICTF at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
